Star field is one of the biggest RPG releases of the year and Bethesda’s most successful launch overall. The interstellar experience puts you in the shoes of a solid space explorer capable of traveling across the galaxy. With all great Bethesda games comes the possibility of exploits or glitches, and Starfield is no exception. Since its recent release, fans of the game have managed to find easy ways to earn credits quickly. While not necessarily as honest as selling old equipment to dealers, this use pays off very well.
As further detailed in our Starfield review, Bethesda’s latest entry in a long line of popular RPGs is massive. Given its sheer size, the game’s glitches are no surprise. After one of the best Starfield suits was discovered to be free thanks to a clever trick, players have come across another similar scam that may soon make your Constellation explorer rich. If 160,000 credits sounds like a lot, that’s because it is. As someone who sells cubed space food for money, I could use any extra credits.
When said credits are free, it’s even better. If you’re aboard the Stroud-Eklund Staryard, try this trick yourself. Once you exit your ship, go straight ahead to the next room where part of the ship is on display. Go to the right side of the display rope and use fun camera movements to force the collision to push you through the wall. This will be easier to achieve if you sprint.
I came across this amazing clipping error #Star field
Just go through the wall and jump on the chest to get 160,000 credits! pic.twitter.com/caUI8nVxgD

Here it is a bit more difficult to get the exploit right as you can see in shots from Karim Jovian above. Once you go through the wall, you’ll need to be quick and use your power-up to land on a small piece of solid ground. Eventually you’ll round the corner and find yourself in front of a chest full of a whopping 160,000 credits. If you’re looking for even more cash, you’re in luck.
You can repeat the use of the chest as many times as you like. Fly to Venus, land, rest, then fly back to the Staryard. It takes about five minutes and you get the same amount every time. You will quickly become one of the richest inhabitants of the galaxy without having to modify the Starfield. The mode is kind of reminiscent of Skyrim’s own buggy Whiterun chest.
With a massive Starfield patch on the way with features like DLSS support and FOV slider coming, there’s no telling how long this exploit will be in-game. Maybe Bethesda will leave it for a while or fix it with a big update. I make many trips to the Stroud-Eklund Staryard myself. As tasty as Starfield’s food may look, it can only bring me so much money. The same goes for all the trinkets everywhere I clutter up my inventory.
