At least 20 people – mostly mine workers – died in South Africa’s Limpopo province on Sunday after the bus they were traveling in burst into flames after a head-on collision with a truck, state media reported.
Limpopo Department of Transport he said on Monday 20 people were confirmed dead at the scene, two others died in hospital. It was not immediately known how many people were on the bus or if there were any survivors.
The vehicles collided on the main road between the town of Musina and the Venetia mine in northern Limpopo province, the transport agency added.
