Lust or Slut? Those are the two answers most Swifties came up with when trying to decode the first Vault trailer 1989 (Taylor Version). Taylor Swift shared the visual on her Instagram account with the cryptic caption: “You can tell me when Search it’s over… if the high was worth the pain.”
The 13-second clip shows a shimmering blue vault opening to spew out a collection of letters and punctuation marks while blue birds fly around it. It hasn’t even been an hour since the trailer dropped, and fans are already speculating that it could hint at a potential Sabrina Carpenter feature on one of the album’s tracks.
One of Carpenter’s most popular recordings, “Because I Liked a Boy,” includes the lyric, “Now I’m a wrecker, I’m a whore,” echoing the words that fell to her during the excellent “Driver’s License” gossip cycle of 2021. Tone and Structure songs are not too different from the song “Blank Space”, 1989 the only Swift references in her caption. Carpenter also recently joined Swift as an opener on the Latin leg of the Eras tour. The 1989 the era was famously defined by the special guests who graced the stage during his supporting tour.
Swift made the announcement during a show at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles 1989 (Taylor Version) arrives on October 27 — exactly nine years after the original was released on October 27, 2014. 1989 the album changed my life in countless ways,” said Ms post on social networks later that night. “To be completely honest, this is my favorite record I’ve ever made because those 5 Vault tracks are so crazy. I can’t believe they were ever left behind. But not for long!”
